As an ACU student, you have the opportunity to spend part of your degree studying overseas at an ACU partner university. With over seventy partners, in four continents, you can earn ACU credit as you experience new cultures!
Have you ever considered studying overseas as part of your ACU degree? There are many opportunities for students to spend a few weeks, a semester, or even a year, at one of ACU’s partner universities. Many of our partner universities teach units in English, so if you do not speak another language, you have nothing to fear!
“I had such an amazing journey and grew so much as a person which I am ever so grateful for! Doing this exchange really opened my eyes to a different world and I have met so many amazing friends along the way and found myself in a way which I could never imagine possible. I feel that I am now a different person and I recommend this opportunity to anyone who is interested in it!! Thank you ACU for giving me this wonderful experience, it has been remarkable!” –Courtney, exchange to Canada
How to get started
The first step of the exchange process is for you to attend an Information Session. ACU International runs several Info Sessions every semester, so come along to learn more. Attending an Info Session will give you all the information that you need in order for you to decide whether exchange is right for you.
You will also need to meet with your Course Coordinator to talk about which units you can be credited for if you study overseas. Tip: If you have electives in your course, try to save those for your overseas semester.
If you are interested in studying overseas, but do not think that you can go for a full semester, you may be able to take part in a short-term study program during the ACU semester breaks. There are dozens of programs available each year, across a range of course areas.
