Get involved and stay healthy with a range of options on campus.

Fitness is something that might fall by the wayside in those first few weeks of university, no one is going to hold that against you!

Once you have your timetable and a routine going, ACU offers a range of clubs, classes, gyms, social sporting opportunities and more across the campuses to help you get back into it!

Gyms

We have ACU Sport Gyms on our Brisbane, Melbourne and Strathfield campuses. As an ACU student you get access to the gym for a student discount so membership fees and casual passes are affordable.
The gyms have it all – state of the art equipment from cardio to weights and classes, changing rooms and locker facilities.
Trainers have top qualifications to ensure you have the best possible service.
You can work out before/ after class or during a break so you don’t have to worry about taking extra time in the day getting to and from the gym – everything you need is on campus!

Fitness classes

Fitness classes are on most ACU campuses and they’re a great way to improve fitness, reduce stress and feel better! You can take Pilates, yoga, boxing and more.
Students pay just $60 (2018) for a semester of unlimited classes or if you’ve got a gym membership then fitness classes are free! A casual pass is only $10. For information on the classes. follow the links here.

Sports Clubs

Not only are sports clubs a great way to stay fit, they’re a fantastic way to make friends and get involved wit student life. With over 15 different ACU sports clubs including cheer, cricket, basketball, netball, soccer, volleyball and more there’s something you’ll enjoy! See what’s available on your campus.

Australian University Sports

You can represent ACU in competitions against other universities in team and individual sports. The Australian University Sport Programs allow you to compete with students from all over Australia in your field!
Compete in Nationals in a range of sports from fencing, rowing, Taekwondo to water polo, surfing, golf and everything in between! Take part in trials and keep up to date via the UniSport portal

Social Sports and Community

Maybe you want to raise money for your favourite charity or challenge yourself – you can do this with Team ACU. Participate in a range of exciting events including Mother’s Day Classic, Tough Mudder and more. All campuses run social sport programs weekly or spontaneously!
